I’ve grown up making marcipan for Christmas every year, I love the Christmas traditions in my family, and I’m looking forward to starting new traditions with my little family.
What is needed to make this simple marcipan, that just taste amazing.
- You will need parchment paper
- vegan melting chocolate
- A pan with water and a bowl to melt the chocolate
*You also add brown nougat or rom essens to the marcipan to make it even tastier, but I love the original.
Roll the marcipan to small balls and put them on a plate, lay out the parchment paper and melt the chocolate over the water bath (not to hot).
Roll one marcipan ball in the chocolate at the time, with a spoon and dump the chocolate covered marcipan on the parchment paper to set and cool down.
When every marcipan ball is covered with chocolate let then rest on the kitchen table for 30 minutes before taking the marcipan of the parchment paper and transferring them to a tuberware for keeping them in the refrigerator.
They will not go bad before the month is over.
