I love Autumn, when the wind becomes cold, and it starts to rain and the light hours get shorter, and the leaves fall, it is time to find the knitted jumpers and the boots, I love the hyggelig feeling Autumn brings.
I want to drink tea, I light scented candles, I where my flannel shirt, I simply just love Autumn.
I love the excuse of being inside, cozy with a blanket, listening to indie music on Spotify, while working online.
It is a count down to Christmas, a count down to snow, a count down to traditions.
I’ve become quit the minimalist over the last 4 years and I’m looking forward to a Christmas in our own home, with our new traditions, with our rules, with a minimum of presents, a minimum of declutter.
Autumn builds up to spending time with those you love and it is a time to reflect on what makes you happy and what you are grateful for. We don’t have thanks giving, but I think it is an amazing tradition, to figure out what you are thankful for and how this last year has changed you.
I use all Autumn to figure out how I’ve changed this year and how we as a family has changed, and being thankful for it all also all the fights, all the bad things that has happened this last year, because it has developed us, it has made us closer and made us more wise. I am so grateful for all the good things that happened this past year, we are so blessed, we just tend to forget in the difficult times.
